A prayer

I surrender all to your hands, Lord
the dearest things of my heart
You know which I try to keep for my own and the hardest to let go
By Thy strength enable me to lay it down in your altar
For you are either Lord of all or you are not Lord at all.

Circumstances never, never refute your love for me.
Even if it speaks and screams the opposite
When we gaze into Your Cross at Calvary
You have been gracious and that is enough.

Keep my eyes fixed upon you, Jesus
Keep my heart pure, serving only You
May I not share in any glory that belongs to You alone
Whenever I am tempted to serve myself,
Have mercy, remind me of who You are and who I am

Thank you for Your saving grace
Even when we are faithless
You remain faithful
For you can not disown Yourself

Thank you that we may share in the blessing of Abraham
Together with the believers, we are heirs of the promises
You can not lie and do not change your mind
Surely, goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever.

May the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you O Lord, my rock and my redeemer! Amen.
